Players of the Week: February 23 - March 1

DALLAS - The Texas Rockies Baseball Organization would like to recognize the program's top performers from last week by naming Aaron Reeves, Davis Hardenburg, and Lee Schlehuber as the Players of the Week for February 23 - March 1.
 
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Aaron Reeves / 13U
 
Reeves slashed .733 AVG / .733 OBP / 1.400 SLG / 2.133 OPS by going 11-for 15 at the plate with three doubles, two triples, and one grand slam across five games played in last weekend's DFW Metroplex Opener NIT tournament at The Parks at Texas Star.  The Rockies' left-handed slugger was also responsible for eight runs batted in, ten runs scored, and swiped six stolen bases to guide his ball club to their first championship title of the 2019 season.  Aaron's nomination for the Texas Rockies Baseball Organization's Offensive Player of the Week is his first this season.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Davis Hardenburg / 13U
 
Hardenburg (1-0, 0.00 ERA) made two appearances on the mound for the Rockies in last weekend's DFW Metroplex Opener NIT tournament where he allowed just two hits, one walk, and struck out three in four combined innings of work.  The Rockies' right hander also carved his name into the program's record book on Sunday morning by tossing the 23rd no-hitter in the history of the Texas Rockies Baseball Organization.  Davis' selection for the Texas Rockies Baseball Organization's Pitcher of the Week is his first this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lee Schlehuber / 13U
 
Schlehuber helped fortify the Texas Rockies 13U defense by showing exceptional glove work in the field that led his ball club to a .926 fielding percentage in the DFW Metroplex NIT tournament.  The Rockies' utility man was superb at the second base position where he recorded six assists, seven putouts, two double plays, and remained errorless in thirteen total chances in the tournament.  Lee's nomination for the Texas Rockies Baseball Organization's Defensive Player of the Week is his first this season.
