LEWISVILLE --- Coming off an impressive 11-6 victory over the Texas Shockers to secure their placement into the Emerald Division double elimination championship bracket of the AAYBA World Series, consecutive losses against the Rio Rebels and the Dallas Heroes resulted in TR Baseball 13U's departure from the tournament and put in an end to what was a remarkable season.

The TR Baseball 13U offense flourished at the plate as each played found a way to contribute with a hit throughout the team's six games played in the World Series. Camden Reeves, Ryan Sessions, and Trevor Ullmann paved the way offensively with six hits a piece and finished batting .400 over the week. Luke Vendig, Trey Brimmage, and Ben Croasdale also played important roles in the lineup as they each totaled five hits in the tournament, while Adam Gillett emerged as one of the team's hottest hitters in the World Series with four hits of his own. The TR Baseball 13U offense compiled a .326 batting average and totaled 42 hits and 38 runs throughout the team's six games.

Right handed pitcher Walker Anderson led the TR Baseball 13U pitching staff with two solid performances on the mound. In his two starts on the hill, Anderson allowed just three earned runs on seven base hits, walked three and struck out eight in nine combined innings of work. Adam Gillett and Trey Brimmage also gave their team a lift on the bump, totaling eight combined innings where they allowed one earned run on six base hits, walked seven and retired seven via the strikeout. A big reason to the pitching staff's success was due to the stellar defensive play from Trevor Ullmann, who appeared behind the plate in four of TR Baseball 13U's six games. Ullmann recorded four assists, twenty-one putouts, one double play, and committed just one error in twenty-six total chances.

Despite falling short in capturing the program's first World Series championship title, TR Baseball 13U had a phenomenal year that featured two tournament wins and a promotion to the major division. Congratulations to TR Baseball 13U on an awesome season as the future remains bright for this talented group of young men!
